Notice is hereby given that a quorum of the City Council of the Town of Addison, Texas may be in attendance at the Citizen Input Session on Monday, October 29, 2018 beginning at 6:00 pm at the Addison Conference Center located at 15620 Addison Road, Addison, TX at which time Staff will receive Citizen input on two Addison projects - Les Lacs Pond Liner Replacement and Belt Line 1.5. This session will wrap up before the Annual Addison Fall Town Meeting begins. These items will be discussed with Staff and Consultant, but no action will be taken. The specific topics to be discussed will be: Les Lacs Pond is experiencing degradation of the existing pond edge and liner, which will require replacement in the near future. Staff needs Citizen input to identify public preferences regarding pond edge treatment, landscape aesthetic, environmental elements, and various park amenities. Citizen input will be a valuable tool to aid in finalizing the Master Plan and developing a construction budget for the project. Belt Line 1.5 Enhancement Project's schematic design for the area between Marsh Lane and Midway Road is entering its final stages. This will be the last opportunity for the community to provide guidance for the Project. The consultant will have final plans available for review and comments. Plans include a recommended design palette, proposed areas for landscape enhancement, completion of a sidewalk along Belt Line Road, proposed bus shelter and bus stop designs, and a proposed gateway monument design.
