AND THEN YOU, UM, PARTICIPATED ON THE MIRO BOARD, WHICH I WANNA THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT.
AND THEN WE HAD A SITE VISIT WHERE WE WALKED THE PARK.
AND DURING THAT VISIT, THERE WERE A LOT OF GOOD IDEAS GENERATED.
THERE WERE ALSO SOME OBSTACLES BROUGHT UP.
I THINK ONE OF THE COMMON CHALLENGES THAT WE CAN ALL AGREE IS WE, RIGHT NOW IN ADDISON, WE'RE ALREADY STRUGGLING WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A, KIND OF AN INCREASE IN THE UNHOUSED IN ADDISON AND SOME OF THE REPERCUSSIONS THAT'S CAUSING WITH SOME DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY AND STUFF.
UM, AND SO THAT HAS BEEN A CONSISTENT THEME AS WE'RE WORKING THROUGH THE PROJECT.
I WOULD LIKE TO KIND OF CHALLENGE EVERYBODY THIS EVENING, THOUGH.
WE'VE ACTUALLY FORMED A HOMELESSNESS TASK FORCE THAT WE'RE MAKING SOME GREAT STRIDES FROM A CITY APPROACH.
AND THEN THROUGH DESIGN AND HOW WE HANDLE THE PROJECT, WE ALSO KNOW THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT WE CAN DO.

SO YOU CAN IMAGINE IF YOU'RE COMING OUT OF THE CONFERENCE CENTER AND YOU LOOK OUT AND THERE'S SOMETHING, UM, A LITTLE STRUCTURE THAT YOU CAN GO OUT AND THAT'S AN AN F AND B OPPORTUNITY.
AND THEN ON THE FAR WEST SIDE WE'VE GOT WHAT WE'RE CALLING AN ART WALK, WHICH MAY HAVE, YOU KNOW, IT COULD BE SCULPTURE, IT COULD BE ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF THINGS.

BUT THE WAY THE DEVELOPMENT IS FLUSHED OUT, THERE DOES NEED TO BE A LANE OF TRAFFIC AT LEAST ONE WAY.
UM, AND SO WHEN THERE ARE EVENTS WE CAN USE PART OF FESTIVAL WAY, BUT NOT ALL OF IT, IF THAT MAKES SENSE.
