GOOD EVENING, LESLIE KNIGHT.UM, FIRST ITEM IS STATUS UPDATE ON SOME RECENT, UH, PLANNING AND ZONING CASES AND PLANNING POLICY ITEMS. UH, SO THE, BECAUSE WE DIDN'T HAVE A, UM, REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING, THE FIRST MEETING OF MAY, MANY OF THE ITEMS THAT, UM, THE PNZ CONSIDERED LAST MONTH WILL NOT GO TO CITY COUNCIL UNTIL NEXT WEEK.
UH, SO WE'LL WAIT TO HEAR RESPONSES ON THOSE ITEMS. AND THAT INCLUDED THE, UM, SUP FOR RODEO GOAT, THE PD AMENDMENT FOR ONE ADDISON PLACE OR THE BAUMAN BUILDING AND THE, UM, DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT OR CONCEPT PLAN AMENDMENT FOR VITRUVIAN BLOCK 300.
UM, WE, RIGHT NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A LINK FOR CONVEY O TO ENTER ANY COMMENTS IN FOR THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE OR UDC.
UH, SO YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A LINK AND THEN A PASSCODE FOR THAT.
UM, IF YOU DIDN'T RECEIVE THAT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, BUT ALL COMMENTS ARE DUE ON MONDAY, MAY 27TH.
AND SO AFTER THAT, UH, WE WILL SEND ALL THE COMMENTS BACK, UM, TO THE CONSULTANT AND THEY WILL THEN PRODUCE A CONSOLIDATED DRAFT.
SO WE WON'T HAVE ANY, I GUESS, UPDATE ON THAT OR ANY OPPORTUNITY FOR INPUT FOR PROBABLY A COUPLE MONTHS AS THEY WORK THROUGH ALL OF THE COMMENTS WE'VE RECEIVED SO FAR.
THE OTHER ITEM IS THE, UH, COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PROJECT ADVANCE ADDISON 2050.
SO THE NEXT JOINT MEETING WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL WILL BE ON JULY 11TH.
UM, SO PLEASE, UM, PUT THAT ON YOUR CALENDARS.

OH, AND THEN MOVING ON TO ITEM TWO, UH, TO DISCUSS SOME OF THE ITEMS ON THE AGENDA FOR THIS EVENING.SO WE HAVE TWO MINUTES, THE MINUTES FROM THE MARCH 19TH PNZ MEETING, AND THEN THE MINUTES FROM THE APRIL 16TH PNZ MEETING.
UH, WE HAD TO STACK 'EM THIS MONTH 'CAUSE I WAS A LITTLE BEHIND ON THOSE MINUTES LAST MONTH.
UM, AND THEN THE OTHER ITEM IS A PLAN DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT FOR PRESTONWOOD PLACE.
UH, THIS IS THE CENTER LOCATED AT THE, UH, SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BELTLINE AND MONTFORT.
UM, AND THEY ARE PROPOSING AN, AN AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN, SPECIFICALLY TO ADD A DUMPSTER, A NEW DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE, AND A, UM, IT'S LIKE A CANTILEVERED COVERED PARKING STRUCTURE FOR THEIR OFFICE TENANTS.
SO IT'S PROPOSED TO BE LOCATED IN THE FAR, UH, SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THEIR SITE.
IT'S KIND OF BEHIND WHERE, UH, LA LA LAND EXISTS HERE.
SO, UM, ON THE, THE SITE PLAN HERE IN THE FAR BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE SITE PLAN, THAT'S THE LOCATION OF THE COVERED PARKING STRUCTURE.
SO IT'LL BE COVERING 22 EXISTING SURFACE PARKING SPACES.
UM, THERE WON'T BE ANY REDUCTION OR CHANGE OF PARKING AS IT RELATES TO THAT.
THEY'RE LITERALLY JUST PLOPPING IT ON TOP OF, UM, EXISTING SURFACE PARKING AREA.
UM, IT WAS, SORRY, UH, IT WAS, UM, AN INTEREST FROM THE EXISTING TENANTS.
SO THE PROPERTY OWNER IS MAKING THAT IMPROVEMENT.
AND THEN, UM, TOWARDS THE TOP OR CENTER OF THE SITE, THERE ARE PROPOSING TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
THIS IS IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO AN EXISTING DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
UM, AS THIS, UM, CENTER HAS CHANGED OCCUPANCY AND WE'RE SEEING A LITTLE BIT MORE, UH, RESTAURANT USERS IN THE CENTER RATHER THAN MORE TRADITIONAL RETAIL, WE'RE JUST SEEING, UH, INCREASE IN SOLID WASTE PRODUCED FROM THESE TENANTS.
SO, UH, THEY HAVE EXPRESSED INTEREST IN GETTING OUT AHEAD OF THAT TO ALLEVIATE ANY POTENTIAL CODE VIOLATIONS IN THE FUTURE.
AND IN DOING THAT, THEY WILL REMOVE FOUR PARKING SPACES AND THEY WILL ACTUALLY INCREASE OPEN SPACE EVER SO SLIGHTLY.
I THINK IT'S A HUNDRED AND I THINK IT'S 165 SQUARE FEET.
UH, BECAUSE THEY'RE EXPANDING THE EXISTING LANDSCAPE ISLAND TO ACCOMMODATE THAT.
AND THEY'RE ALSO TRANSPARENT PLANNING TWO CEDAR ELM TREES THAT ARE EXISTING TODAY.

UM, THERE'S NO OTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO, OR MODIFICATIONS TO ANY OF THE EXISTING SITE IMPROVEMENTS OTHER THAN WHAT I'VE JUST DESCRIBED.AND THEN WE DID RECEIVE, WHICH WAS AT YOUR SEAT, A LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM AN ADDISON RESIDENT.
SO THAT WAS RECEIVED AFTER THE PACKET WAS RELEASED.
UM, AND THE COMMENTS PROVIDED WAS, I SUPPORT THESE IMPROVEMENTS OF THE CASE.
I THINK, UH, THAT'S ALL I HAVE FOR YOU AND THE APPLICANT WILL BE PRESENT AS WELL.
LESLIE, THEY'RE NOT REMOVING ANY TREES.
THEY'RE JUST TRANSPLANTING TWO TREES, IS THAT CORRECT? THAT IS CORRECT.
